Looking for a great place to visit in Europe?  Many people love to visit Amsterdam.  Amsterdam was one of the most wealthiest countries in Europe a few centuries ago.  Today, Amsterdam is still considered the Venice of the North.  If you are planning on visiting Europe, here are some tips on visiting Amsterdam.

Amsterdam has it all, great culture, architecture, incredible museums and a rich history.  Anyone that visits Amsterdam can immediately see why it is so popular.  Amsterdam has a rich history and world leading painters such as Renoir and Van Gogh.  In fact, there is a Van Gogh museum right in the middle of Amsterdam.  Amsterdam is a city built on canals.  You can walk through the streets and visit the beautiful river banks.  Amsterdam is usually called the Venice of the North.

People in Amsterdam usually ride bikes to get from point A to point B.  The land in Amsterdam is flat which makes it ideal for bike riding.  There is also tram system and a subway system to ferry passengers back and forth throughout town.
